It has been 2 years since Jay and I have been to Falmouth. The kids wet last year once for the 4th, but that's it. I LOVE it down there and I have missed it.
This wasn't just another 4th of July....this was also Cole's FIRST 4th of July and it was also the weekend of his FIRST birthday!!!!
We were delighted to spend the holiday with The Mulloys' and Auntie Stacey. Grandma and Grandpa DeVincent were in Ireland for an anniversary. They were missed but the fun just had to go on =)
It started with everyone going to the bike parade.
After it was back to the house for BBQ and fun.
Then it was off to "The Flying Bridge" for a pizza party picnic and fireworks. The fog just kept rolling in. We stuck it out until showtime. Dealt with crank attitudes and grumpy tantrums only to LEAVE when the show started because we couldn't see them....
The next morning it was off to Old Silver Beach..
The next day was kind of a lazy relaxing find of day. Everyone was tired from all the fun we had been having but the whole day couldn't be a waste. It was Cole's BIRTHDAY!!!!
So late afternoon we went to the beach.
Then it was home for birthday fun! Cole's FIRST cake =)
It was special fourth of July break.
I couldn't have asked for more. We had family, fun, love and made some special memories.
We are pretty blessed =)
