Happy Thanksgiving 2014

Happy Gobble Gobble 2014!

Cole still wasn't feeling 100% and no one was really down for a family picture but I did my best because they all looked so cute! =)

November 26, 2014

Despite above average temperatures Good old New England weather kicked it up a notch and gave us a decent amount of snow for Thanksgiving.....The first snow of the season; if only we knew how much snow we were really in for later that winter....

Happy Friendsgiving!

Our friends the Tsianatelis Family invited us all over the night before Thanksgiving which I deemed as Friendsgiving.

Unfortunately Cole was sick and couldn't go so he stayed home with daddy but other than that it was a great night.

I feel so blessed that we all have such wonderful friends =)

Hailey's Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

November 22,2014

We were spending the weekend at my moms so Jay could have some "man time" to make up for "man weekend" not happening.

We didn't go over empty handed.  Kyle had a "traditions" project to do. You would have thought after years and years of procrastinating I would have learned my lesson and had this done with ample time to spare....but NO! I was an irresponsible mother and unfortunately passing along this horrible habit to him.  Mommy FAIL!

However, I think we pulled it off =)

The next morning I woke up to this cutie at 5am.

Plus I finally found cute xmas jammies for the kids. Woo Hoo

last minute successes!

Kyle's Turkey Day Play!

Kyle's class put on a Turkey Day play.  His teacher went a little "off course". I guess this is something she did for years and years and last year the school said "no more". Well, this being her last year before she retired she went with it and I am so happy she did.

Kyle was so excited to learn about Thanksgiving, Native Americans, and Pilgrims and for the parents to be able to go into the class was really special.  Hailey got to come too!!! She was excused from class so she could see her big brother.

Later that day it was off to BINGO night where we made out as BIG winners. 2 PRIZES!

November 21, 2014

Cole's speech has been delayed.  I was concerned about it, but assured by friends and family that he is "fine"  nothing is wrong with him.  I keep debating E/I.  Does he need it?  Does he not?  Is he OK?  Is he not?

Time would tell =)

Hmmmm...I wonder how Daddy felt about this:

A BOY made it for Hailey

November 14,2014

My Grandmother is an amazing woman.  It is so hard seeing Alzheimer's fade her memory away. At times I can see her.  I see her peer from the faded glass and see her.  In this moment I saw her with my daughter.  Her great granddaughter.

Oh what a beautiful sight to see.

We were running errands at BJ's and this lil' one insisted on walking.....

Which mean he is growing up, seeking freedom and seriously going to slow me down.

But he is cute!

Pajama Day at School!

Halloween 2014

Halloween was different this year as we had no "theme" to our costumes.

Kyle wanted to be a police officer and there was no convincing Hailey or Cole to be his convict.

Hailey ultimately decided to be a butterfly but finding a costume late was a struggle as the ones we did find were not to her liking.  She ultimately ended up with a "Goddess" costume with pink butterfly wings to match and ta-dah....a butterfly was born.

Cole found a Jake costume and he got so excited about it and loved it so much he didn't take it off.  By the time Halloween rolled around it was so filthy and torn I had to buy him a second costume =)

This was the first year we went Trick or Treating downtown (October 30th) it was a cluster, but it was also a lot of fun =)

Halloween we had a HUGE unplanned party here at the house.

We had the Sacca family, The Gaudettes, The Macewen Family, The Tsiantsioulis', and the Sowdens with us.  Ultimately we had 18 kids, 13 adults, a lot of chaos and a tone of fun.  Hope we do it again next year! =)
