2 Babies in Pre-K!!!!

I can not believe I have 2 little ones going to pre-school. The time flies! I wish I could keep them like Cole...itty bitty babies forever.

Wednesday September 12th was Kyle's first official day. He is going 3 days a week in the morning. He was so excited to go back to school and see some of his old friends.  This year the classes are full so he is going to be making some new friends too.

His cubby!

When it came time for him to go into class he gave Hailey a hug and a kiss and flew into the room forgetting all about me...and Cole. I was a little sad to see him go but he was so happy; I was just happy for him.

Thursday the 13th was Hailey's first day of Pre-K.  She will go 2 days a week in the morning.  Hailey was just so excited to go to school. She had seen Kyle go for a year and make things, and saw him play on the playground at school.  She wanted to go so badly!  For weeks she has been telling me "Mom, I am going to meet girls at school. I am going to play with the girls..but not the boys. I know too many boys."

Her "ticket" into class.  She showed all the other kids their tickets and what to do with them.

She FINALLY got to play on the schools playground!

and is making some new girl friends =)

It was tough dropping her off.  I was prepared for her to cry.  Kyle did his first year.  She was a little timid going into the classroom but she kissed me and her brothers goodbye and off she went.  I had a grip and was so happy and excited for her but when I got to the car I fell apart and cried.  My baby girl was a school girl.

Things felt better when I saw her happy face when I picked her up and she took all this art work out of her little pre school box.

This year is going to be a special year for them both.  They have a little time apart.  Each get to make new friends, and I get to have a little more time with just Ky....and Cole, but he is still so little =)

Happy School Year!!! I am excited to see how you will both grow and change this year.

My Bug

I am still adjusting to getting 3 kids happy, fed, dressed and out the door.  I was so proud of myself this day because we were out the door before 9am to go food shopping and run errands.  I asked Hailey to go get her shoes and she came out in this......

and YUP I allowed her to wear it out because I had things to do and a limited amount of time to do it.

That's my bug!

Labor Day

Labor Day is full of fun for the DeVincents =) Family and friends come from all over to join us at the Marlborough parade, and a BBQ at the house.

We start early! Jay went up bright and early to get prime seats for the day.  Stationed right across the street from a chinese restaurant that serves fabulous cocktails.

You see, us ladies escape and leave the kids with the Dads for drinks across the way =)

Not for the entire parade though....we want to enjoy it too....a little =)

There was a cart full of toys parked behind us.  Usually they walkup and down the parade route but this woman sat behind us the entire time and I am pretty sure we "made" her day.  Especially where the kids kept taking things off the cart for us to pay for....KYLE! =)

For the last round of the day CJ got stuck with us ladies, but he was a good sport.

We girls decided that we were going to do this every labor day, as we labor to bring the little ones into the world.  In fact what was really cool about this year is that we had 2 new little people welcomed into the world since last years parade my niece April (Rhonda was pregnant with her at last years parade) and my Cole who wasn;t even a twinkle inmy eye at last years parade.  So funto see how things change in a year =)

Tricia made a song for the day:
"Ohh it's labor day... We like to drink with c.j. .... Captain and Tanqueray....Jay parked the car while we do ballet.... I didn't have to pay vallet.. Ohh labor day!!!!"

After all the fun at the parade it was time for more fun at home with even more friends and family.

We do Labor Day RIGHT!!!!

Can't wait for next year!!!

Wedding Bliss

My cousin Kim asked Kyle and Hailey to be the ring bearer and flower girl in her wedding.  Kyle is becoming a wedding pro!  This was his second wedding as a ring bearer, and though I was nervous; he was able to guide his little sister down the aisle.

Look how adorable they are!!!!!

After doing an amazing job going down the aisle it was time to paaaarrrrtttyyyy and they are all about tearing up the dance floor.....

or sliding down it =)

It was a beautiful wedding, an incredible day, and so special to see my little ones so dressed up!
LOVE THEM!
