Dear Family

Dear Family,

        I am so sorry I have fallen behind on this blog.  I have missed writing about our lives and everyones accomplishments so much.  I have thought 1000 times "I have to write in the blog" but to be honest I fell so far behind. It was overwhelming and it didn't feel right to just pick up where we are today.  6 months have passed! In Cole's little life that is a lot of time!!!!! So I am going to go back.  View old facebook posts.  Scroll through ALL the pictures and do my best to not only catch up but to keep on going.

     I don't write this blog for friends, or outsiders though if they enjoy what I have to say and peeking in on our life I welcome it with open arms and love.  Really, I write this blog for us.  Some people have photo books (and we should too...I know I should get on that too!) BUT I think that is why this blog is so special and near and dear to me heart.  Because you can see our family pictures and I get to share what we were doing, thinking, feeling on that day in that moment.  Something I may not remember 20 years from now.  The blog also helps me to capture those itty bitty sometimes what seems like meaningless moment that one would otherwise forget and we get to have it....forever!!!

     So again, I apologize to you all and I especially apologize to My Cole for I have not done you justice in writing about all the love and magic you have added to our family.  Please forgive me and allow me to do my best to write about the last 6 months we have shared together and ideally keep up with who you all are and what you all do and how you make my heart grow every day.

    I love you more than words could ever define.  Thank you for being my family and for making my life so happy and so bright!
