Hailey started ballet September of 2012 and she loved it. I also enjoyed it because I met some more pretty great mama's =) ANYWAY, it killed all of us. Week after week we would bring our little ones to dance class, sit in another room dying to know what was going on in the studio.
In December when we had to pay for their costumes we were all buzzing with excitement, but still nothing! No hint as to what it was or what they would be doing.
Then a month before their recital we saw their costumes....Oh my adorbs!!!!
June 21st the girsl had their dress rehearsal. I don't think there was a dry eye in the Mommy group. We were all in tears watching our beautiful ballerina girls dance on the stage to "Be our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast.
After their time on the stage Hailey and one of her ballerina buddies loved watching the older girls dances and actually did a really good job picking up on their dances in he aisle =)
Recital night I'm not sure who was more nervous the girls or us moms. We were just so eager to see the girls under the bright lights.
They were amazing! The audience went crazy with applause when they came out on stage and again when they lined up and kicked walking up the stage. Ohh I am excited just thinking and writing about it now!
Of course she was showered with flowers and love by all of us when it was over.
We were all so proud of her. But even better...she was proud of herself! She really enjoyed dance and being on the stage.
What better way to celebrate our ballerina girl than with some ice cream?
Hailey Rose, You did amazing in your recital we are all just so proud of you.
