YAY Kyle!!!!!!

Kyle has officially filled up his "I Sleep in my Big Boy Bed Chart"! 

 It took a little more than 30 days, because we slept out a few nights, and may have forgotten a sticker here and there.  Would you believe he only came in our bed ONE time??  It was the night before last, and he came in at midnight because I awoke to him calling for me and he was so upset he had a bad dream he asked if he could come in our bed.  Of course I let him.  He understood it meant he had to wait another night to get his rocket so it must have been a rough dream.

He was so excited this morning at 6am.  He knew he earned the rocket.  He begged "Mom I can get my rocket today please, please, please.

He was shocked when I pulled it out!

I have to admit.  I do miss him snuggling in our bed at night; but having the space in the bed is nice too.  He is growing up!!! I am SO PROUD OF YOU Tid-Bit!!!!  You EARNED your rocket.  He has had it for 45 minutes and he keeps saying "Its my favorite toy!"  SO worth it! =) 



Girly Girl...

Whenever Jase brings me home flowers the kids get so excited. They are just as happy as I am.  When my Valentine's day roses had to go Hailey was all upset and started telling Jay "You have to get Mommy new flowers.  Her flowers are dead." So sweet right???  Well, the script changed a little Monday. "Daddy you have to get me and Mommy some flowers." At first it was cute.  Then she got a little demanding.

When Jason did not bring home flowers Wednesday night Hailey was upset.  "Daddy you forgot to bring me some flowers =(" in her pouty little voice.  Jay felt terrible, he felt so guilty for letting her down. She was sure to tell Daddy again, "I need some flowers Daddy, I want purple flowers please."

Thursday morning she was sure to call and remind him a couple of times.  I have to admit we were both surprised with how much she really wanted some flowers.  I think she is why Baby D. #3 is a little boy!  God blessed us with such a girly girl that he figured a little more testosterone in the house would be good =).  I mean she is 2 and crying that her toe nails are chipped and that she needs a pedicure and wanting flowers.  Jay was taken back, but then began to feel a little better.   If Hailey has these higher standards at 2 then she will be very picky when it comes to dating when she is older; allowing him to breathe a whole lot easier =).

Thursday night unfortunately, Jay had to work late.  He did remember to bring Hailey Bug flowers and as a bonus I got some too!

So pretty!!!! I think she will be so happy to wake up and see them in the morning.  Thanks Daddy!  You did good! =) xoxoxoxox

Hailey's Cupcake Kitchen

Hailey already has a kitchen set that she loves.  When Christmas rolled around and the big Toy book came to the house Hailey desperately wanted the Cupcake Kitchen by Little Tikes. As any Princess would, she received exactly what she wanted from Auntie Karen and Uncle Chris.

A few weeks later being the insane and overly disinfecting Mommy I can be I cleaned her kitchen.

Well, I cleaned the stickers right off!

She was devastated!

I would get random pouts with "Mom look what you did." and "Oh Mom you ruined my cupcake kitchen."  Like the guilt wasn't bad enough she had to point it out to anyone and everyone that came over:"Look Mum washed my kitchen and broke it!" Of course no one was ever on my side.  I always got that look:" How could you do that to her"

Well, THANK YOU Little Tikes for not sending me one but TWO replacement sets of stickers for the Cupcake Kitchen!!!!

All is merry and bright in our home again; and I feel a whole lot less guilty.

For the Love of Cars

If you know my husband, then you know he loves cars.  Not just the big cars he deals with day in and day out but remote control cars.  Since he was a kid, he has collected and played with remote control cars.  In fact even now he asks for a new toy car every Christmas.

Unfortunately as he got older he found fewer and fewer friends who were really into playing cars with him. People still play with him, my father, and some friends do actually come over and enjoy racing the cars around the basement.

Now, he has passed his love onto his children.  Kyle and Hailey LOVE playing race cars with Daddy!  They call him on the phone during the day to ask when he is coming home to play cars.  As soon as he gets home and just wants to relax they jump up and down and demand to play cars with Jay.  The best part is no matter how annoyed or bothered he is when he first goes downstairs to play (because all he wants to do is relax)  he always comes up with a big smile on his face. I may even be so bold as to say a bigger smile than Kyle and Hailey.

I love listening to them.  "AWWW Crash!" and "I flipped your car!" I also enjoy having a little time for myself, but have to admit, I usually just sit upstairs and listen to them laugh and play.

I'm just glad Jason has friends to play cars with everyday now.  It really is very special =)

Baby D. #3 is..................

Today was a very special day in the DeVincent home.  We got to find out the gender of our third baby!

It felt like forever for 3pm to roll around, and then it was TIME!

We went in and all the measurements that needed to be taken were done. Everything that needed to be examined was thoroughly looked over. Baby D was not very cooperative!  Why?  Baby would NOT STOP MOVING. Just like Kyle and Hailey this one is an active, busy little bean. A happy, healthy, active little bean =)

July 12, 2012 another baby BOY will be bringing even more love to our lives. 

We are so blessed.

In case you were wondering the gender pee predictor test I took week 12 was RIGHT!  I suspected it might be correct, it turned green right away!  Also, a few days later at our 12 week ultrasound the doctor "suspected" we were having a baby boy based on the angle of a certain "tube" so he was RIGHT!  The suspicions I had from the beginning were RIGHT. My sisters prediction of me having a boy was RIGHT!

We are so happy and so blessed.  We can not wait to meet our newest little guy =)

School Pics.

I know I am a ridiculous Mama.  I have admitted to it several times.  I was so sad, anxious, nervous and excited when Kyle was going into pre-school and getting his first school pictures done.  Why? Sad: because he is old enough to have a school picture! Anxious: because I wanted to see how they came out so badly! Nervous: because I wanted him to smile, and feel confident.  Excited: because they were his first school pictures ever!

Well, we got them in yesterday and I LOVE it!

He looks so happy!  He has a little sparkle in his eye.  I just LOVE his little face. He looks a little too grown up, he is only 3 but its just the best!  Simply looking at this picture brings me so much joy. How can you NOT smile looking at this? 

Now, the price for the picture package, a little outrageous, but of course I am buying it!  LOOK AT HIM!



Valentine's =)

I feel like I am getting my Mommy mojo back!  Hopefully.........January was so dull.  We did nothing and I relied on the TV way too much to entertain my children. 

Now that I FINALLY have a camera again I felt inspired, and the fun mommy in me was out to play.  With Valentine's Day right around the corner, why not a v-day photo shoot and some crafts?

I'm pretty lucky, thus far in their lives I have them trained fairly well to get some cute pics =)

It helps that they really do love one another.

But the sibling rivalry is always there!

 They amaze me.  I am so blessed.

Then, it was time to craft.  My Buglet LOVES art and begs to do crafts all the time!  Thank You Christmas Tree Shop.  For $2.99 we have 26 of these to make and last for hours of crafty fun! =)
