Jump Around!

Jay showed me the hill where he took the kids sledding...Thank goodness I did not go with them.  I would have FREAKED OUT!!  The hill was huge and I was not thrilled with his Daddy decision.  However, no one got hurt and the kids had fun and there were a lot of smaller kids there..so I guess it was just my mommy instinct to freak out.

As we were driving back I took a deep breath looked to the left and as though angels were shining a beaming light from heaven above I saw a sign "Jump In with Me".  Promptly my mood changed and I had to investigate.

There was an indoor jump place 3 minutes from my house!! How have I not heard about this place????

A few days later one of Kyle's teachers asked: "What are you going to do with 3 kids and this cold all winter?"
Ha ha ha I knew!!!  Go to Jump In With Me!!

So a couple of weeks ago we checked it out.

It was new. It was fresh. It was clean.

It is a smaller space, but perfect because there is only so many places your little one could be.

Kyle and Hailey had SO MUCH FUN!

It was even better because some of their friends from school joined us as well as their cousins April and Ryan.

I'm not going to lie.  My mommy goal was to wipe them out and have them go to bed nice and early.  It didn't work out in my favor. However, all day Saturday they were calm and even napped!

We have got to go back soon!

Happy Hearts! =)

On the 16th Cole had a follow-up visit with Dr. Saleeb at Children's hospital.  I can not say enough good about this physician.  She amazes me and doesn't make me feel as though Cole is just another one of her patients. She has given me personal numbers to reach her at, called me while she was on vacation.  Truly has gone above and beyond her call of duty.

She came into the room wishing Cole and I a Happy New Year and a smile.  She was impressed
with how big and strong Cole was.  She sat down, looked at him and said "I can not believe how much he looks like Daddy!"  Jay wasn't even with us!  See, just an incredible doctor!

She looked at the results from his EKG and she was very happily impressed. It was the most "regular rhythm" she had ever seen for Cole!

Dr.Saleeb changed her treatment plan for Cole.  Instead of increasing his dose (due to an increase in weight...he is a growing baby) we are keeping it the same!  In 2 months he will wear another halter for 24 hours, and in 3 months she will see him again.  Did you see what I wrote?  3 MONTHS!!!!!! Cole MAY be growing out of this E.A.T!!

We are essentially weaning him off his medicine.

Of course I have to continue to oscillate and listen for irregular beats in which case we will have to increase the dose on his medicine; but either way he is doing VERY well!!

With love and prayer my heart is happy because I have Cole in my life!! It looks like my Prince does have a lion heart!!!!!

New Year..New Miracles?!?!?

Hailey has been sleeping in her own bed!!  Yes this is the umpteenth sticker chart, and yes I have tried 100 different tricks but maybe just maybe I have found the right bribe?!?!

She LOVES her friends at pre-school.  Specifically Brianna, Sophia and Alyssa.  She really wants them to come over and play. SO..I told her "IF she sleeps in her big girl bed, fills up her sticker chart and does not wake me up 3 times a night they can come over."

It's WORKING!!!!

I think the pink lights on her bed help too.... =)

BUT Jay and I seem to be asking for punishment and have baby #3 in the bed with us now...

It's a catch 22! We want the space in the bed and to be alone, but love having them there to love and snuggle. SOMEDAY they are not going to want to snuggle with us anymore.  One night it will be the last night we have them in our arms cuddling, and we won't know its the last time.  I am tearing up and my heart is aching at the thought of it.

Besides the point.......Hailey is giving us a little more room, and sleeping soundly and happily in her room earning stickers. AND we still get snuggle time with all 3 of our babies =)

Good Job Buglet!!!

Better Late than Never....

I FINALLY took Kyle to the dentist.  I know 2 years later than I should have.....I never said I was "Mother of the Year"

Point is, we went!

He was a little nervous (of course) so he didn't sit in the chair, he sat with me but he did GREAT!

WOW how times have changed since I was a little one going to the dentist. They had a lot of toothpaste flavors..bubble gum, watermelon, mint, chocolate...cookie dough!!!  CRAZY!!!!  Kyle chose cookie dough toothpaste and watermelon fluoride =)

His smile was so bright I had to wear my shades!

I promised if he did well he could get the plush Star Wars Angry Birds he was talking non stop about and begging for.

Not only did he do well, he was thinking of his sister who was at school while we were there. He made sure he got a dentist prize kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and etc.) for her (even though she is going in 2 weeks). Picked out stickers she would like and at the end he got to pick from bins as many prizes as he wanted and all he chose was a green ring "for Hailey".
I'd say he earned a fun lunch out (at IHop..mmm mm mm pancakes for lunch) and of course....

His Star Wars Angry Birds!

They were way more money than I was planning to spend and I have to admit it was killing me to BUY more stuff with everything he got for Christmas but he is so so happy.  Well worth it.

A smile to melt my heart =)

6 Months!

January 6,2013 Cole turned 6 months old.

It was a very special day.

We were surrounded with love by our entire family for Cole's baptism.

Reverend Kaz was incredible.

Cole was not his happy self, but it was a wonderful day =) and one our pastor will never forget- as Cole kicked him in his manly parts as he was bringing Cole around for the congregation to greet and bless.

(Cole's Godparents)
Ryan and Katelin
Of course after church we had a family lunch. I knew it would be fun because I fell down the stairs in front of the church as we were leaving and these days it isn't a party until someone or something falls =).

We are so so blessed to have such a loving and wonderful family.

2 days later we went for Cole's 6 month visit with Dr. D.  I am SO SAD because I forgot my camera at home and my phone in the car so I didn't get pictures of him at his appointment.

However, Dr. D was VERY VERY impressed with Cole. He was sitting up all by himself- so big and strong! Grabbing everything in sight.  He was showing off- big time his gross and fine motor baby skills!  He weighed in at 17 lbs.1oz.  He is gaining weight and growing perfectly!  He is only in the 49th percentile but he is a happy, healthy, perfect baby boy.Tough too!  He got blood drawn- didn't cry and 4 shots!!  He didn't cry until the third shot and after a snuggle and some kisses he was back to smiling =)

The BEST part...Dr. D did not hear ANY irregular heartbeats AND his blood test results for potassium were NORMAL! YAY!!!!!!!!

What a blessing!

ANGRY BIRDS!!

Kyle LOVES Angry Birds!!

He was introduced to the game through someone's "smart phone" not exactly sure whose to blame.  When I got a smart phone..(yes I was in the dark age) I downloaded the game per his request not exactly realizing what I was doing.

He will wake up at 4am sneak my phone and play.  I have caught him awake at 1am playing!!! I limit his time with the phone.  Especially now that he knows how to go to YouTube  and watch Angry Bird movies, and log onto Amazon to see all the Angry Bird toys.  It amazes me!

For Christmas he got a bunch of Angry Bird game sets. He doesn't even really play with them.  He just keeps them lined up on the table just so.

AND he is so happy!

Love him!

Hello 2013

It was really nice waking up this morning.  It was the first time on a looonnnggg time I woke up without a plan, agenda, or a big to-do list. Miss. Hailey asked Daddy to take her out to breakfast and he loved the idea!  So, it was off to the new IHOP =)

People were looking at me a little silly for taking pictures at breakfast BUT it was: Our first breakfast of 2013, our first breakfast out of 2013, and this lil' cutie pa tooties first New Year Day so I HAVE to document it..hahaha =)

Happy New Year!
