April 24, 2013 It was time for Cole to go back to the cardiologist and check in. A few weeks before he had to wear a heart halter for 24 hours and I was anxious to learn his results.
Once again I was impressed by the love and care the nurses and doctors all had for Cole. As soon as he went through the doors everyone remembered him and was amazed with how big and strong he was. Not fake amazed I mean they remembered him! Jay was not with us for this visit and everyone kept saying "wow he is looking more and more like Daddy!"
Of course he was in good spirits!
Then the doctors came in with the results from the heart halter and the EKG from that day.
What they told me....They were so impressed. In his last 24 hour heart halter he only had no tachycardiac states and only 2 irregular beats!!!! Any scmoe can have 2 irregilar beats in 24 hours. Now they could not definitively say that he was growing out of his condition. It is possible the medication is just at a true dose for his height and weight and doing its job; although it is felt he is indeen growing out of the E.A.T.
The plan: keep him at the same dose of medication so he natually grows out of the dose. At 14 months call in and order another 24 hour heart halter, proceed frokm there.
I could not have asked for better news! Yay Cole!
