Daddy Skills

This morning I was up bright and early. 1:30am,3am and 6am.  BUT I fell back to sleep and was KNOCKED OUT around 8am. Which NEVER happens.  I was in such a deep sleep that I did not know or realize my husband was up and getting the kids dressed.

I woke up just as they were going out the door to church.  I told my husband, I'm up, and he said "no worries, go back to sleep I got this. I didn't even see the kids go.

When they got home I saw my children.  Kyle looked good.  Black pants, polo shirt and dress shoes.  Granted his pants were a little short, but overall he was a handsome guy.

He didn't do so badly with Hailey.  She matched.  BUT her shirt was not buttoned in the back, clearly he didn't know there were buttons.  She was wearing pants on a muggy day, which isn't a big deal, except that they were little boys pants.  Jason found them on the top shelf in her closet with tags.  I was saving them for my nephew because they were given to Kyle, but he was already too big for him so he never wore them. She has a drawer full of capris and pants, how did he miss those?  Oh yeah, and dresses hanging in the closet....its a mystery.  He also put heart socks on her that did not match her outfit at all and shoes that were a size too small.

She is so cute though, she could pull the look off.  As for me I learned a couple things: 1.) I need to go through the kids closets and drawers and remove everything they have grown out of in the last 3 months and 2.) I should always leave an outfit out for Jason to dress her in for emergency purposes =)
