When you're vacationing in Falmouth and looking for a little downtime, that's also fun, you have to hit the beach. I don't think it really matters which beach but you must get onto the beach.
I was a little concerned Hailey would just be all about Lucas (again), but really she just checked in on him every once in a while in between building sand castles with Auntie Karen and Daddy.
Getting the sand wet enough to build fun castles was quite the task. Wesley and Kyle (my water baby) were all over the task.
Hailey was more into building. I'm not sure if its an innate love for the beach or if she just loves playing in sand (she is in the sandbox all the time at home).
Everyone had fun.
Lucas and the boys were more interested in destroying the castles. Thank goodness there were stacks of them to stomp =)
In the end it came down to a castle competition. No tools, just imagination. Of course my brother was the only one playing, although he knew he was actually competing with Jay. Unfortunately for Jase he didn't know there was a sand competition until we were packing up to leave. It was a good effort but in the end, Chris won.
Sorry Jay. Next time we will let you know you are in a competition.
