Boys Day Out

It was a "boys day" Sunday morning for Kyle and his cousins, and a day full of firsts for my little guy.

First #1: Kyle got to ride in another car other than our family vehicle.  Yup, he got a "big boy" seat and was able to ride in the back of Daddy's truck with his cousins, which is another first in itself, a ride in a truck, and another,another first in itself riding with his cousins...Go Kyle!

First #2 or #4 if you want to get technical, Kyle got to go in Daddy's fishing boat. He has been out on Grandpa's boat on the ocean but never on the bass boat.  I finally gave in, bought my little man a life jacket and allowed him on the boat.

 The guys were out there for HOURS.  Yes, we did give the Dad's a camera to capture all the special moments with the boys...they caught a BUNCH of fish.  Jameson even caught his first bass fish' but of course no pictures.

Thinking the men of the group wouldn't take pictures, and thinking the moment was just too adorable to pass up I snuck down to the lake to see if I could snap a shot and this is what I got.  Don't worry I wasn't spying on "man time" I got my picture and I took off, and I am so happy I did =)

If you were wondering what the gals (and Lucas the 5 month old too young to tag along with the men) were doing, we shopped.....

Hailey tried on several pairs of women's shoes, a couple hats and bought a beautiful, pink, sparkly purse that everyone who saw her just adored.

I'd say it was a good day for all =)
