When Tim Troup asked Jason to be a groomsman in his wedding he was honored. There is no where else he would want to be but by the side of one of his best friends on their wedding day. When he and his fiance Beka asked if Kyle would be the ring bearer we were both honored.
The rehearsal went really well. Kyle carried his little pillow and held Kylas (the flower girl) hand.
After a little dance, Kyle veered off in a new direction. He didn't make it all the way to the alter, but I was proud of my little guy. THANKFULLY Uncle Troupie loved it too. He appreciated the imperfection of the moment.

Later that night it was off to the hotel for our first family night in a hotel. The kids had a snack and were excitedly off to bed =)
The next morning the kids were up bright and early. I had 3 goals: 1.) Don't waste the day, Plymouth has some fun and we needed to find it. 2.) Wipe the kids out early enough that they would go back to the hotel and nap before Troupies wedding (tough, considering most days my children are anti-nap) and 3.) Let Jay get some sleep. He was up into the wee morning hours and needed some sleep to be able to celebrate later that night.
After what was a very exciting breakfast for the kids in the hotel lobby we were off......
We walked along the shore and watched some boats.
We went to see the Mayflower.
I really wanted to go on board and explore, but my little ones had no interest in doing so.
If you are in Plymouth you have to go to Plymouth Rock.
I have to admit, I was actually excited to go to Plymouth Rock.
I don't know why I did not fully realize (until I was there) that it really was just a rock. I guess I sort of pictured it in the middle of someplace like Disney, but really its not, and it is just a rock. LOL =)
Luckily for the three of us there was some excitement by the rock.....The Run to the Rock!
We sat and cheered on the runners.
Then it was off for more adventure, an a little shopping.
It really was a fun morning. AND it offered just enough burnt energy for the kids to go back to the hotel, eat a good lunch and nap. GO ME!!
When Kyle woke up, it was not on the "right side of the bed". He was a good sport though. He got dressed, smiled, and then cried when he had to leave with Daddy for pictures before the wedding.
When I got there he looked oh so handsome, and would not put down the caterpillar we purchased earlier.
My ONLY goal, was to keep him happy and occupied until he could officially walk down the aisle as Troupie and Beka's little ring bearer.
Kyle and Kyla were so cute and ready to walk. The problem was they wanted to go about 8 minutes too early.
When it was time for their big debut they started out really well. They were adorable. Unfortunately, Kyle didn't want to carry the pillow, but he did carry his caterpillar =) He's 3 people! He was happy and going down the aisle.....whatever it takes.

Probably because all that mattered was the perfect moment of when he saw his bride for the first time.
It was a whimsical and beautiful wedding.
Around 8pm Kyle and Hailey were requesting to go back to the hotel. Sadly I had to leave the festivities with my little ones, but the party went on until the wee hours of the morning.
Though I was disappointed I had to leave, I made the best of the evening with my little ones. They had so much fun staying in a hotel. In fact, they keep asking "Can we go back to sleep at the hotel Mama?"
It was an unforgettable weekend.
Thank You Tim and Beka for inviting us to celebrate your special day with you. We wish you a life full of love, health, happiness, laughter and forever friendship. =)
