Big E 2011

There is no better way to kick off fall than going to the Big E.  Jay, my sister Katelin and I have gone every year since 2007.  I was hoping this year was going to be an adult only, kid free year with a bunch of friends and family.  It didn't exactly work out the way I had planned it. I guess in a way it was better.  It was the three of us, Kyle and Hailey.  Looking back, I don;t know if The Big E would have been the same without them.

The lines were sooo long this year!

We started with libations =) Happy Big E!

While we were waiting for everyone to catch up Hailey found a little bead stand and picked out beads for everyone.  Green for dada, Pink for mama...=)

We had to get kettle corn for Rhonda.

This was the first year we played games.

Kyle and Hailey kicked game butt!  They each won a tiger and a lion.

This game worker was super nice!  He basically just gave them a prize.  He was impressed with Kyle's determination.

He just thought Hailey was too adorable to NOT win.

Then it was finally time to go down the slide.  Kyle had been asking since the moment we enetered the Big E to go down the slides.  I couldn't believe he remembered them from the year before.  He was only 2!

It was an awesome day.  I can't believe we actually considered NOT going this year.  Awesome memories from Big E 2011.  I am psyched to go again in 2012! =)
