Happy Father's Day

Hello Y'all! It has been a WHILE! I was going to write 1 post to catch you up, but I thought 1.) that is a lot to write and 2.) this is like my little on-line diary..I can't just sum up EVERYTHING! So for those who asked...WE'RE BAAACCKK!
This year for Father's day we covered all of our bases. On Saturday we went to see my father and spent the afternoon celebrating him and BBQ'ing. Then we were off to Falmouth so we could spend Sunday with Jay's Dad. It was an extra special day. Not only because Jay is a father too..but because the boat Ron (Jay's Dad) had been dreaming and talking about for years would be taking its maiden DeVincent voyage.
The morning began bright and early. Jay woke up to a bag full or presents =) Mostly shorts, and little things he needed. Then we whisked downstairs to give Grandpa his gift. We knew he would need it!
His Captain Grandpa hat, which had the names of his grand kids embroidered on the back.
Every Captain needs his crew. Thanks to Brightie they all had matching gear. OK OK a little silly; however, in some way I do think it made the day a little more special for Ron. Even though he refused to wear his..LOL

There is the boat going in the water!
Here are the "men" with their catch! OK so it wasn't a keeper and we did end up eating pasta for dinner, but I still think the guys day was fun! Jason got to be with his father on Father's Day to take out the boat. Ron had his son, and his son in law with him..and his son in law had his Dad with him too. If this day wasn't about father family love...what day is??? =)
