Marlborough has the biggest labor day parade in the state. We have lucked out the last 5 years. It has always been sunny and warm.
Not this year........Of course not because Jason and Kyle were WALKING in the parade. =)
But we were fully prepared. Rain or shine the parade was going on and we were going to be there!
I can't tell you how many thumbs up we got because of our tent. It was so simple and GENIUS! =)
Would you believe I missed the MOST IMPORTANT part of the parade. I missed Jason and Kyle marching by. I ran down the road to chase them down, but had no camera in hand. I still can't believe I missed it! But at least I got to see this cutie pa tootie when he was done.

We had everything we needed. Friends, Family, cocktails and a tent.
The weather was crazy, it would downpour, then the sun would come out and it would get super muggy, a breeze would blow and down the rain would pour.
Everyone around us was soaked!

After, everyone in our crew came back to the house for a BBQ. Guess what??? Once the parade was OVER and we got back to the house to cook it did NOT rain again!
Oh Mother Nature you tricky gal! But you didn't get us DeVincents! We had so much fun. Thanks to everyone who shared the day with us. I think the rain actually made the day that much more memorable.
