When I first learned Kyle was going to have a scrimmage last Thursday I wasn't real excited about it. It was away, it was at night, I have 2 other kids, it's a school night. I mean he is 5 for bejesus sake! What does he need a scrimmage for?
Of course I had to go. I have moved past missing practices. His dad is with him. It is something they can do together; and like I said before...I have 2 other little ones who need tubbies and bed at a decent toddler hour. But a scrimmage? I just would have not felt right missing it.
I'm so glad I went. It really wasn't very far away, and it was kind of exciting watching the little ones play under the lights as it got dark out.
It wasn't easy to always watch Kyle play with the other 2 in tow.....
But thankfully I am surrounded by some other great moms and a few little girls who have no problem "babysitting" Cole =)
I hope they have another scrimmage under the lights =)
