October 29th Massachusetts was hit with a BIG Nor'easter. A record breaker for the month of October. The biggest issue was that we have not had a real Fall. The leaves which should have turned fabulous colors and fallen off the trees haven't yet. You would be shocked to see how many trees are still bursting with green leaves! Its OCTOBER!!!
With so much foliage on the trees and a very very heavy, wet snow there are down power lines and fallen trees all over the state.
Many towns post-poned trick or treating for the safety of the children.
Our town was one of the towns heavily hit. So we did not get to trick or treat.
BUT we still had to celebrate Halloween! So we dressed up.
I thought I would be OK not trick or treating, but I have to admit. I was a little sad, and jealous looking at everyones pictures on facebook.
No worries though, Little Red and Big Wolf will hit the houses hard for our towns re-scheduled trick or treat night, Thursday.
