Monday was actually Halloween, but due to the crazy snow storm our town post-poned trick or treating. At first I was OK with it. Then I saw everyone posting their pictures on facebook of all the fun they were having Monday night, and I was jealous. I kept my head up thinking, its going to be weird trick-or treating on Un-Halloween . It wasn't....
In fact I am glad it was post-poned. It was way warmer tonight than it was Monday night, and in passing all the other kids along the way you never would have thought it wasn't actual Halloween =)
I adored every second of it.
Kyle and Hailey would race to the doors, and with their sweet, adorable voices they would say "Trick or treat"; and "Thank You".
After each house Kyle would turn to me and say "just one more house Mama. OK?" Hailey was so excited. You have never seen a 2 year olds little legs run so fast house to house.
After hitting the entire neighborhood and working our way back around the block the babies decided their pumpkins were full enough and they they wanted to go home to see what they got.
Hailey dumped out her bucket to see all that it had to offer.
Kyle found one BIG Hershey bar and gobbled it up.
It may be November 3rd but it sure felt like Halloween to me! =)
