Muddy Sunday

If there was ever a game for the family to stay home and miss it would have been this game!  I so wanted to just stay home with Hailey and Cole, but where it was the day after man day.....I had to go and I was driving...BLECH!

The game was 50 minutes away and it was cold and rainy! AND we needed to be there an hour before the game even started.  Normally- so not a big deal; but thew weather was gross!

SO Cole, Hailey and I hung in the van and watched a little Doc McStuffins.

At game time we sucked it up and went down to the wet muddy field.

I could not believe how good this little one was being despite the cold and the rain.

I felt so bad for the boys.  They were soaked and muddy to the bone.  There were not very many happy 5-7year olds on the field =(.

Hailey was OK, she had he set up, and was such a good sport.

The second half the rain cleared and Hailey got to cheer.

I think these cuties rallied our team because the second half we scored 2 touchdowns!

Yeeeaaaahhhh Wildcats!!!

With minutes left in the game Cole was ready to get out of the stroller.  I tried to keep him in, but he was so good the entire time I felt guilty....

He got out, and went right after the girls, and on the way...

 he found MUD

and loved it! He was just so cute! Stomping through the puddle back and forth.  He gathered his own little audience.

It was a rough game, but I guess that is what will make it so memorable.  I'm glad I didn't miss it.  We always love being together and it is so great seeing my husband and my son on the field =) Makes it all worth while.
