For a while there is was an annual thing to go apple picking with the DeVincent side of our family. Then the last year or 2 we didn't all go. Not sure why, but we all made it this year!
After a chilly, rain soaked morning of football; the skies cleared. The sun came out, and it actually got hot out. A pretty perfect day for apple picking.
First up: Hay ride to the pumpkin patch.
Next: Apple picking
Then, it was time for Grandma's favorite part: apple donuts, apple cider, apple dumplings and ice cream =)
A fun family day, full of love and laughter, and a tradition carried on.
Sounds like a pretty perfect day...and making it home in time for the second half of the Patriots game...BONUS!! =)
