He skipped a T

My little baby boy is becoming a little boy.  I am NOT handling it very well.  I truly don't like this whole growing up thing.  I mean I love watching him learn more and more and it amazes me how much he has to say and tell me.  He shares his thoughts and feelings. He even tells me the things he "loves" and doesn't like.  But the actual physicality of him growing up is awul.

Its true when people say "they grow so fast" Kyle literally is. He was a 2T for the longest time.  Then, around Valentine's Day I noticed his shirts are getting a little small.  So I bought him a few 3T things, including this shirt:

I did so thinking its so cute and he'll be able to wear it for a little while.  Umm NO!  He went from 2T to 4T literaly overnight.  Thats right he SKIPPED a T!

Let me tell you it has NOT been easy finding him cute 4T tops.  He needs some long sleeve stuff and there was nothing out there.  I looked everywhere.  I get stores want to sell ahead of time for the next season but HELLO we still need some long sleeve stuff it was February for cryin' out loud.  It all worked out though.  The other day I found some cute long sleeve tops for him at Target (my new favorite place) and I went nuts at The Childrens Place and Gymboree for him (and her too).

I guess the point is I understand that Kyle is going to grow up.  I get that he has to grow up.  I just don't think its fair that it is happening so fast and that he is skipping sizes to do it. Hasn't anyone invented a little pill to keep my baby a baby forever yet?
