That Face

Do you see this face?!?!? This perfect, adorable, magic filled, handsome face!

 

Some little girl Ma-Ri-Na (said in my teasing nasty 6 year old voice) had the audacity to say to Kyle "Why do you have those spots on your face?"

 

I just learned about it this morning.  When he came in and asked, "Mom how can I get these freckles off my face?"

 

Mom:"Why do you want to get rid of your freckles Kyle?  I love your freckles."

 

Kyle:"Well Marina asked why I have them so now I want to know if they will go away or get off my face."

 

Mom: " Those freckles make you special. They are angel kisses."

 

Kyle: "Who sent angels to kiss me?"

 

Mom: "God"

 

Kyle: "So my freckles are from God?"

 

Mom: "Yes."

 

Kyle: "OK so  if she asks me again I will just say they are from God.  He just made me that way; and then I will say blah blah blah ( in his new silly voice) lets just talk about something else"

 

Mom: "So do you feel better about your freckles now?"

 

Kyle: "Yes Mom." and he went off running =)

 

When I asked him if her asking hurt his feelings or made him feel badly he said No. I hope he is always this happy and this strong.
