Kyle got his first report card. His first real, official, report card. I don't know why it is such a huge deal for me, but it really is. Maybe because it represents how grown up he is getting. Maybe because its strange knowing he is being graded and judged on his progress. Not sure, but its huge. I may have cried a little....but don't tell =)
He is doing really well! Not that I had any doubt he would do well. Even more important than the grade received are the teachers notes. "Pleasure to have in class". "Works well with others" . Of course I want my babies to be smart but what s more important is that they try! and that they work well with others. Sure maybe this is a less than typical view to have but its my view and Kyle's first report card has made me very proud.
