Hailey adores her big brother Kyle. As much and as often as they fight, she ultimately always tries to make him happy. "OK Kyle we can play that. OK Kyle we can watch that."
She is the BEST big sister to Cole. There is nothing she will not do for him or with him and he adores her!
Her being an amazing sister is not what this post is about though.
This post is about the little moments I got to peek in on her this week and how she just made me so proud to be her mom.
When she came out of dance class I asked "Where is your sweater?" She ran over to her friend Allison and said "Allison can I help you take off my sweater? Do you have a coat to wear home?"
She took her sweater off in class and let her friend use it. I was just so impressed with my little girl.
Then today I was waiting to pick Hailey up from pre-school and I got to peek in and hear her (without her realizing). At clean up time she ruled the room! She led the kids to where they should be and how they could help pick up. She assisted the other girls in taking off their princess dresses and hanging them up. She spoke to everyone and led with such strength and kindness.
She made me so so proud!!!
Happy Valentine's Day to me! She made my heart grow a little bigger today with pride. She is growing into such a smart, beautiful, kind, good hearted, special little girl. I am blessed she calls me Mom.
