About Baby =)

Its hard to believe we are days away from being done with the first trimester!  13 weeks already!

This past week we went to Newton Wellesley for a "special" ultrasound.  It was an ultrasound to measure certain tubes and levels.  I did it with my other 2 babies, but this one was a little different because rather than just going to the doctors office we had to go to the hospital. Reason being that the Dr. I see has changed his hospital affiliation from Framingham to Newton Wellesley, so procedures have changed a bit.

I hear Newton-Wellesley is nice, but I was quite happy in Framingham. I digress.  It was a little nerve wracking having to go to the hospital for this test and having to see faces I was not familiar with, but we did it and baby looks GREAT!

I am amazed with how much baby has changed!  We had an ultrasound at 8 weeks and Baby DeVincent looked like a little bean.  4 1/2 weeks later baby looks more like a baby!

You could see a little face, arms, legs, hands, feet!  Let me tell you baby was dancing up a storm!

All the books and the doctors say it is too early to feel the baby, but I knew exactly where baby was because I could feel my little miracle. I'm not feeling flutters or anything, I just knew exactly where baby was.

Kyle and Hailey really enjoyed watching their new sibling on the big screen.  Kyle kept telling everyone they had to take the baby out so we could take it home =).  We just keep telling him we will bring the baby home in July =).

They were so cute "sshhh Mama the baby is sleeping" and now Buggy tells me all the time "Mama you have a baby in your belly."

I suspect the gender, but I know every pregnancy is different so one really can't tell. I did the pee test to determine gender.  Knowing it is highly inaccurate, I just did it for fun and it gave me a certain result.    However, at the 12 1/2 week ultrasound the Dr. I saw did take a guess.  Based on the angle of a certain "tube"  if said "tube" is 30 degrees or less its a girl, 30 degrees or more boy. Based on our babies test results the tube was really pointing in one direction, but we were warned to not tell the world anything until we know for sure around 18 weeks...which brings as to right around Valentine's Day =)

I will say the pee test, my suspicions, and what the Dr. said were all the same though =)

Baby DeVincent is happy in there and developing healthy and right on track.  Second trimester here we come!!!!
