I love our neighborhood. It's private and quiet and full of kids, but I never felt like it was full of spirit. We tried to add a little spirit to our neighborhood this past Halloween by going "ghosting" for the first time.
Kyle, Hailey and I had so much fun going out and leaving treats for our neighbors that when they asked if we could do it again for Christmas I jumped on board! So in the beginning of December (I know my blog timeline is a little off) we thought we would Elf our neighbors and hope that the trend continued through the neighborhood =)
We put a lot of thought into our stockings: a mini tree and ornaments to decorate it. Wrapping paper, tape, bows and tags. Cake mix, cupcake wrappers, frosting and sprinkles, a Christmas game and some decorations for the home =)
They were so excited!!!
Kyle insisted on carrying the stocking and on wearing his "magic" elf hat =)
This time Hailey went up to the doors too!
Then they ran and hid, to make sure the family got their stocking but didn't see them =)
When we were done and headed home Kyle had to stop to throw some Christmas magic from his hat to our neighbors to make sure they had a really great holiday season.
He made my heart glow with his magic and spirit.
Another incredible night with my babies!
So thankful for my neighborhood, for my family, for my life, and for Christmas magic.
NOW...when can we surprise our neighbors again?????
