I am so blessed to be a stay-at-home-Mom. It is the hardest job I have ever had, but I LOVE it! I have seen and enjoyed all of my little one's firsts. First step, first laugh, first day of school....you get the idea. Last week Kyle went on his first school field trip, and I missed it!
I couldn't chaperone 1.) because I have Hailey and Cole and I wouldn't have been a very good chaperone and 2.) It would not have been fair to Kyle to bring along his sister. I want them to both have a little time apart and have new experiences with new people and friends.
It made it hard when he begged for me to go and to bring Hailey and Cole.
It broke my heart to see the bus drive away....
and yes, I cried......because I am ridiculous.
But he had a BLAST!!! he came home with a 1/4 peck of apples, and a little pumpkin. He got to pick apples, drink some fresh cider and eat a delicious apple donut. The teacher assured me he enjoyed himself.
As sad as I am I missed his first field trip...at least I know he enjoyed it.
Why do they have to grow up?!?!?!?1
