My 3 year old has been begging for a girls day! I know CRAZY CUTE! Last Sunday we finally had one. My mom and sister Katelin came too.
First stop: Pedicures!
Only we didn't get them. For some reason when she found out she was going to put her feet in water while sitting in a little princess chair, she got very shy and embarrassed and we all ended up leaving without any sort of polish.
To boost her spirits it was off to lunch! She wanted to go somewhere different from her norm. (like we go out all the time) We ended up at The Chateau. Where we enjoyed a delicious meal full of girl talk.
Next it was off to Walmart. Hailey really wanted Princess shoes. Specifically shoes like Sophia The First. So when we found sparkly magenta shoes she had to have them...and BONUS she found red sparkly shoes to go with her Christmas dress...Daddy said she could get red shoes.
Then it was off to Toys R' Us. Hailey picked a Christmas gift for each of her brothers.
Then we hit Kohl's to see if she could find the perfect Christmas gift for Dad.
It was so nice having time with just her. Sure, when Kyle is in school we run errands and spend time together; but Sunday was HER girls day. She can't wait to go again.....and neither can I! =)
