Lat year for Halloween we got walloped with a storm. Trick or Treating got delayed! This year Hurricane Irene was on a direst path toward the Northeast. We prepped for a power loss,and by prep I mean we set up camp in the living room =)
Thankfully we did not lose power or feel any direct effects of Irene. We did have 2 days off from school; and at first I didn't understand why....until I drove down the road and saw trees and telephone polls down. With great Thanks, our area did not get severely hit, and we were all safe and sound. AND able to trick or treat on Halloween =)
